Berks Coalition to End Homelessness provides the following direct services:
HPRP - Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program - this is a rental and utility assistance program for those who are being evicted or those who are already homeless. This is a federal program. Berks County Community Emergency Funds - through funds provided by the United Way this is an application for funds of up to $350. These funds are distributed on a one-time-basis to Berks County residents in need. The following needs eligible for these funds are: food, utilities-such as (gas, electric, water), rent, mortgage, and medical. To print out an application, please click on the link below.
